Updated Schedule
Due to instructional disruptions caused by recent winter storms, the department is extending portions of the Spring 2026 TCAP administration window. These adjustments are designed to provide additional flexibility while ensuring that scores are delivered to districts on schedule. The deadlines below ensure scores and results are returned in time to identify students for the 3rd-grade ELA retake and/or use in course grades.

Updated Spring 2026 TCAP Administration Deadlines
ACH ELA and EOC English (Priority Deadline)
New Final Administration Date: Friday, April 24

PBT ELA/ENG (all subparts)
For PBT ELA, all scoreable materials must be shipped no later than April 24 (the final day of administration). Exception: Make-ups which must be completed as soon as the student returns and shipped upon completion.
This April 24 deadline is firm. This adjustment replaces the previous expectation that CBT ELA/ENG Subpart 1 and PBT ELA/ENG all subparts would be completed during the first week of testing (which began April 13).
Paper-Based Testing (PBT) – ACH Grades 2–5
New Final Administration Date: Wednesday, May 6

All ACH Grades 2–5 PBT administrations must conclude by May 6.

All ACH PBT scoreable materials must be shipped on May 6 (the final day of testing).
Timely return of materials on May 6 is required to remain on track for raw score reporting.
ACH Grades 6–8 and EOC
New Final Administration Date: Friday, May 8

Administrations for ACH Grades 6–8 and EOCs may continue through May 8.
Required District Actions
- Ensure CBT ELA/ENG Subpart 1 and PBT ELA/ENG all subparts are completed by April 24.
- Ship all PBT ELA materials by April 24.
- Conclude ACH Grades 2–5 PBT by May 6 and ship materials that same day.

Conclude ACH Grades 6–8 and EOC testing by May 8.
